NEXT and AZ Ready-for-Rigor Partnership Grants

Better teachers. Better students. Better schools. This is the goal of a pair of U.S. Department of Education grants the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College Office of Partnership Grants is implementing as part of its comprehensive school reform program. The NEXT/Teacher Quality Partnership (TQP) and the Arizona Ready-for-Rigor/Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) projects involve at least 14 urban and rural school districts throughout the state to improve the quality of teaching and thereby increase student achievement and school performance.

To facilitate a foundation for our partners and the educational community to collaborate, and share information and resources, we have created this Online Resource Center (ORC). This public site provides details about the programs and services being implemented in partnership with the K-12 school systems, community colleges, and NIET with funding from the TQP and TIF grants. For grant partners, there is a member section to provide secure online multi-faceted communities with additional resources specific to their unique groups. We want this site to be a resource for the students, teachers and communities we’re all working together to continually advance. Explore it; use it. And let us know how we can improve it.
